Bounty Projects

This idea and page was borne of necessity and an interest in Market forces. We find that from time to time small projects arise that we do not have time to complete ourselves. These are the types of projects that will initially be found here. We hope that others from outside our network like the idea as well and eventually will choose to post Bounty Projects here.

The idea is to seek solutions by throwing them out to "The Market". The project may involve coding, software testing and documentation or simple research. Payment for the finished product can be made in the form of the posted "bounty", by tender or by negotiated hourly rate.

To work on a bounty project Potential "Solvers" or "Bountineers" should:

•  peruse the bounty sheets that interest them (accessed from the Open Projects page),
•  grab any relevant code templates which can be accessed from the template repository,
•  then get to work and submit a solution (before someone else claims the bounty).

Important:

•  Submitting a Bounty Project solution implies that you have read, understood, and agreed to the general Bounty Project Rules as well as the terms and conditions of that particular project.
•  Don't forget to indicate your preferred payment method and instructions when you submit your solutions.
•  Sferic & Partners work predominantly with Matlab, LabVIEW or C/C++ under Microsoft Windows. In some circumstances we would accept standard C DLLs (with source code for archival purposes), however we are willing to post projects from outside our network and any project specifications such as code base or target OS should be listed in the Project Bounty Sheet.
